Thank you! This tutorial was simple and easy to apply. I tried it with some other pictures. I noticed that this effect only looks good with natural light pictures/outdoors shots. I will use this technique again.

I may be really stupid, but I'm not getting the last step here. Make a new empty layer? We don't fill it with anything? And what exactly is the ctrl-shift-alt-e translated into a menu command? Maybe harder to translate into PSP after all! ;-) Cool tutorial though.

hhahah i know when i first heard of this trick i was confused too and and im sorry cause i use both psp and ps and before i publicate a tut. i make sure its good on both psp and ps but i guess i messed up on this one well for the last step go on compy-merged and then past as a new layer the set it to soft light and it should end up with the same result (see ctrl-shift-alt-e is a fancy way of compy-merged and paste)

Oh! Thanks for clearing that up! *Slaps forehead* I really should have been able to figure that out myself, but what can I say? It is a really beautiful effect though, thanks! :-)
